Ashton Calnan

Owner of Right Fit Inc. B.Sc, R.Kin. Registered Kinesiologist and Personal Trainer.

Right Fit began because of Ashton’s passion for helping people change their lives through diet and exercise. It has been successful because that passion is real, and what is offered at Right Fit is honest, challenging & supportive.

With a Bachelor of Science and honours in Human Kinetics, a certified Personal Trainer & Registered Kinesiologist and extensive experience in athletic therapy, Ashton has the knowledge and background you can trust. Her focus is 100% her clients development, whether that is through herself or the team that represents Right Fit.

Leroy Rollins

CanFit Pro PTS.

Leroy found a love for fitness early in his life. Growing up idolizing the physiques of professional athletes, Leroy started weight training at a young age. He developed a passion for strength training as he saw physical improvements, and has been in the gym consistently ever since.

Leroy followed his interest for fitness into college and graduated from Loyalist College with honours in the Fitness and Health Promotion program. While studying he became aware of the CanFit Pro organization, and received his Personal Trainer certification during his second year of college. After college, Leroy shared his knowledge with the public and began training clients in their homes.

With his passion lying in strength and functionality, Leroy is excited to help you reach your goals and develop a body that can accomplish anything!

Steph Corras

R. Kin, MHK, BSc. Honours Human Kinetics, RYT, Core Confidence Specialist

Stephanie has always been passionate about helping people lead physically active lifestyles.  Stephanie is a registered Yoga Instructor as well as a Kinesiologist who specializes in lifestyle counselling.  She has both a Bachelor of Science, with honours in Human Kinetics, and pursued her Master’s Degree in Human Kinetics, with a focus in health and exercise psychology giving her the tools to help her clients foster strong behaviour change principles.  Stephanie will help motivate you to reach your goals & support you through your journey to improved health.

Stephanie has been teaching Yoga at TRF since 2014 and balances her class with strength, functional mobility, and relaxation.  For Stephanie, Yoga has allowed her to get to know herself, improve her health- both physically and mentally and she is excited to share that passion with others.

Kara Muhlhausen

R.Kin., FRCms., B.Sc.

Kara is passionate about sharing her knowledge and educating others in all aspects of health, fitness and wellness. She believes that the structure of the body is interrelated with the function of the body. If our bodies and joints are moving as they should- we work, play , live and feel better!

Kara played varsity basketball at Loyalist College and then at the University of Guelph, while studying and completing her Bachelor of Science in Human Kinetics During this time, Kara volunteered as a student Athletic Therapist and Strength and Conditioning Coach for various varsity teams at the University of Guelph.

After graduation, she completed the registration process to become recognized as a Kinesiologist with the College of Kinesiologists of Ontario. She is a certified Functional Range Conditioning Mobility Specialist (FRCms), and applies a scientific approach to the rehabilitation process.

Currently, Kara is attending the Canadian Academy of Osteopathy in Hamilton, ON, where she studies Classical Osteopathy. She looks forward to graduating from the 4-year MOMSc. program as a Manual Osteopathic Practitioner in 2020.

Shawnda Smith

CanFitPro, PTS.

“THINK.FEEL.FITNESS” is Shawnda’s philosophy .Her love of all things Sport and Athletics led her down her own fitness path competing in many half marathons and obstacles courses. Shawnda draws from her 20 years of experience and education as a Fitness Professional as well as being  the mother of 4 talented children which gives her the natural desire to encourage growth through fitness.

Shawnda strives to provide her clients with the knowledge, skills, guidance, support and motivation that will allow them to reach their own fitness potential.

Mikayla Couillonneur
ACE Certified Personal Trainer
Mikayla started her health and fitness journey at 15 years old with cross-country running and sprinting on the track and field team. She achieved both a provincial and national status while in high-school and went on to join the Royal Military College of Canada track team at the university level. Exploring different avenues of fitness beyond running when she joined the military, Mikayla fell in love with taking care of the body and developed a real passion for building a strong foundation and being as mobile as possible. Having experienced the positive outcomes of a healthy lifestyle inside and out Mikayla left the Military after 5 years of serving to pursue her passion of helping others build stronger and more capable bodies and minds. Completing her Personal Training Certification through the American Council of Exercise she went on to start her own brand of helping women become healthier, happier, more confident and stronger.
Mikayla is ready to help you create your best life through health and fitness.

Kelly Robertson

Brand Ambassador & Office Manager

Kelly supports Ashton with managing and operating Right Fit. She is the face you will often see upon entering the gym and does a lot of the behind the scenes work to ensure the day to day operations of the business are running smoothly. Kelly is passionate about making Right Fit successful while maintaining its core values of being a small, locally owned business that truly cares and caters to their clients.

Christine Bongaurd-Austin

Registered Massage Therapist, RMT

 

Formerly a Registered Practical Nurse, Christine is no stranger to health and wellness. Graduating with honours from her programs, Christine’s goals for treatment are patient centered. With a passion for learning, Christine consistently engages in continuing education to add to her practice. Highlights include; additional skills in Advanced Soft tissue Release, Cupping Therapy for Myofascial Conditions, Posture and Pain Studies, as well as Certified Myoskeletal Therapist.
